Physiotherapy at Agile Cardiff

What do physiotherapists do?

Our Physiotherapists will initially ask a series of questions about your basic health, current activity levels and future expectations followed by a thorough assessment of not just the affected area but of the whole body to help understand your injury.

Once your Physiotherapist has determined your diagnosis they will use ‘hands on’ manual therapy techniques as part of an individualised rehabilitation program containing exercises, advice, and other various interventions such as: Bracing, strapping, and acupuncture.

Why choose physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy can help if you are suffering with pain that just won’t go away from an injury through sport, work or personal accident as well as if you require rehabilitation following surgery or steroid injection.

Furthermore Physiotherapy can help with any of the following:

  • General muscular / Pain or tension
  • Sciatica
  • Nerve impingement
  • Shin splints
  • Bursitis
  • Pins and needles
  • Tendinitis
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Disc protrusion
  • Arthritis

What do I need to wear or bring with me?

You are advised to wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely whilst undergoing your assessment and carrying out the exercises advised. It is requested that your clothing allows appropriate access to the affected area to treat also. Please note that your dignity will be respected at all times during your visit to Agile Therapy.
