Sport Massage Therapist
Joseph Brill has graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) in Sport Conditioning, Rehabilitation and Massage in July 2018.
Originally from Pembrokeshire in the South West of Wales, Joseph came to Cardiff in 2015 to study ‘SCRAM’ at Cardiff Metropolitan University. During which, he has gained experience with the MCCU cricket squad and Cardiff Blues U18s, whilst gaining his Level 4 sports massage qualification. Joseph is currently working towards a Masters in Sport Rehabilitation, and currently completing an internship with Newport County senior squad and developing his clinical assessment skills and overall clinical experience.
Joseph has been involved with sport and physical activity from a young age. Being involved with local football and rugby teams, Joseph had the opportunity to play at Parc Y Scarletts, captaining his local U19s County team and university youth team, and having the opportunity to trial with Swansea City F.C.
Currently, Joseph regularly attends a local Crossfit gym, and since joining a year ago, has successfully completed the Crossfit level 1 training course. This form of exercise appeals to Joseph due to its variability and ability to participate in different exercise domains such as gymnastics, weightlifting and general cardiovascular fitness. Joseph has the belief that performing a variety of foundational movements and fitness regimes, is a great way to develop overall fitness for any occasion.
